Co-hosts Bill Giancoli and Myron
Rumsey are back with episode 97 of The Podcast of Oa as
they two talk about a strong month for the Green Lantern corner of
the DC Universe. Before going to the normal comic book
reviews Myron announces that the show can now be found on Soundcloud
and will soon be coming to Google Play Music and Spotify.
Myron shares his observations from the recent The Dawn of the Justice League television
special and how he believes that while they didn't say too much
about Green Lantern's cinematic future DC Films gave clues to their
direction via visual cues. The two talk about the recent DC
Rebirth announcement and give thought to what it might mean for
Green Lantern.
In their comic book conversation both Myron and Bill felt that Robert Venditti has begun to hit his stride with the main Green Lantern title and that this month's issue 48 really provided Hal Jordan with a new type of adversary. And continuity hiccups aside both felt that the debut issue of Edge of Oblivion was a good one. Sinestro #19 was also a hit with both Bill and Myron with Cullen Bunn really providing an event level story in the ongoing series.
